Visit to Sungai Buloh Estate Workers
On 16th November 2003, members of the club and some of their friends paid a visit to the disadvantaged estate workers in Sungai Buloh. Using classrooms of the Sekolah Rendah (Tamil) Ladang Coalfields, we distributed clothes, food, household items, stationeries, school books and other necessities to the schoolchildren and their families. The children loved the toys the best! Despite the extremely heavy rain (it flooded in Sungai Buloh that day!) we managed to make it there and back in one piece, and had a rewarding experience in the process.
