KC Pantai Charity Food and Fun Fair
As our Very First Major fund raising activity, the members of the newly formed Kiwanis Club of Pantai KL organized a Charity Food and Fun Fair on 18th October 2002. Held at the Bangsar Baru Sports Complex, we set up stalls for food, drinks, household items and second-hand goods to raise funds for KDISC. Numerous corporate sponsors generously donated their products for sale, while other Kiwanis Clubs and friends chipped in with games, snacks and handicraft items. As an 'added community service', underprivileged children were also brought in and given free 'money vouchers' to spend !
