Description	Started in August 1992, home for underpriviledged children (both boys and girls) and recently for the down syndrome as well as old folks. The girls' living unit is located in 2 single-storey homes at Taman Kuchai, Puchong while the boys live in a home at Taman Tenaga, Puchong. Recently 2 other homes were set up in Cameron Highlands and in Karak, Pahang. Besides providing shelter and care for the residents, the house focuses on providing learning opportunities, preparing and equipping the children in skill training and character development.At the home, they have services such as :-Collection of used furniture, workable used home appliances and other household items, Collection of second hand clothes, shoes, books etc.

Description	The Malaysian Spinal Injuries Association (MASIA) is a non profit, non religious, non political, national organization of the spinal injured individuals of all races and from all walks of life, resident in Malaysia. MASIA is a self-help group for people with spinal cord injuries and their families. It is controlled and run by the spinal injured people and their friends. MASIA assists spinal cord injured people and their families to promote their integration and full participation in Society. MASIA encourages paralyzed people to live a quality life and realize their own goals. There are many causes of Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and most are the result of everyday accidents which could happen to anyone of us. Description	The centre accommodates almost 155 children with age-range that varies from 3 years to 51 years old. Most of the residents are mentally disabled, meaning, they are unable to take care of themselves. Apart from mental deficiency, there are also cases such as Down Syndrome, Spastic, Cerebral Palsy, Hyperactive and Autism. They also have abuse cases and normal cases where the mothers are psychiatric patients and therefore unable to care for the children.

Description	Today it is home to 50 residents of all ages ranging from 25 to 75 years. The main aim of the Home is to train and provide residents with all the necessary assistance to develop abilities and to maximize their level of independence so that they are able to achieve as full a as possible no matter what their physical disabilities. These disabilities are the results of the known physical handicapping ailments or diseases such as poliomyelitis, rheumatoid arthritis, muscular dystrophy, oral palsy and osteogenesis imperfecta. Some of these conditions have known cures while many are progressively disabling. Whilst at the Home, residents are given the opportunity encouragement to develop interests and hobbies as music, sports and activities that allow them to interact socially and engage in suitable employment. The emphasis of Rumah Amal Cheshire Selangor, like the other 250 of its kind around the world, is firmly based on an all-round development within a secure environment of love and encouragement rather than treatment alone. The Home is multiracial and this makes the home unique in Malaysia
