DescriptionREACH Ministry for the Hearing Impaired, SFX, PJ commenced in 1992 with 3 deaf persons and 1 interpreter. Over the last 10 years, through the initiatives of this Ministry, more than 45 deaf persons have been identified throughout KL Archdiocese. We are parish-based, serving/assisting the KL Archdiocese to provide pastoral care for the deaf. We network with parishes to pave the way for active participation and involvement of Deaf people in parish life, and encourage deaf leadership.
